New Shooting Last Night
Kid, 19 years old, couple of blocks from here. Life in the big city, etc.
Maybe they are just trying to keep the guns hot to warm their hands. This global warming is freezing my ass off. It is entirely too dern cold to be the ninth of May. cloudy, windy, and COLD today. The kind of bone chilling dampness that sinks into your soul and makes you think of ancient wrongs and dishes left unwashed.
*shudder*
An ambulance chaser sent me a nice, full color brochure today, and another chiropractor's office, a matched pair of them this time, sent me a two page spiel about delayed symptoms and offering to put me though the wring with a full barrage of tests and stick it to the other guy's insurance company. How could I possibly resist such a tempting offer? *sarcasm*
I'm just too cheerful today. I should settle down before I break something.

You know, if you got the time and inclination, you might just be able to scam the scammer. Insurance companies and state insurance commissioners (if they're honest) would love to get some of these guys. You ought to call them and see if they are interested in using you and your accident to "clean up Dodge".

I quit tilting at windmills back when arthritis became an issue. Even if I went to the trouble, and even if they busted these guys for some kind fo insurance fraud, they would simply pay the fine and/or do the minimum at some country club holding area then go back to business under another name. Whereas, if nobody used their services they would quit. The problem isn't the rash, the problem is that nobody will stop scratching. Without customers, criminals would go out of business quickly.
